Tree run area expansion
Last season's highly popular tree runs are back and better than ever! A total of 7.5 hectares of tree run zones will be added to both the Black Valley and White Valley areas. Enjoy diverse terrain across five zones totaling 27.5 ares.
A new accommodation in the southern area: BunkLodge NEKOMA

Located at the foot of the southern area of NEKOMA Mountain, this is a base for snow lovers. With affordable prices and a relaxed atmosphere, it's perfect for everything from a quick overnight stay to aim for the first runs of the day to a long stay waiting for powder.
With features like a drying room, a tune-up service, and a lounge for chatting with friends, this simple stay is packed with amenities designed for you to fully immerse yourself in skiing.
NEKOMA's Après is even more fun! BeerHouse "Matatabi" opens.
The Bandai Shokudo restaurant at the resort center in the southern area transforms into BeerHouse "Matatabi" in the evenings. You can enjoy plenty of après-ski time with friends while sipping on drinks and snacks. It can also be used as a dinner venue, expanding the dining options for guests staying in the surrounding area.
Hike to the stable &
Open to the public free of charge as a ride area.
The Umaya area will be opened as a hike-and-ride area where you can freely climb. It's recommended as a place to practice backcountry skiing or enjoy snowshoeing. How you enjoy it is up to you: a powder run first thing in the morning, a scenic hike with views of Mt. Bandai and Lake Inawashiro, or playing around with the terrain! For this first season of opening, we will be offering a trial period where you can ride the Batou chair for free! Powder lovers, come and have fun!
Permanent dog run
Perfect for playing in the snow with your dog!
Last year, a dog run appeared in the South area for a limited time, but this year it will be available throughout the season. Take advantage of the vast South Base, the dog run offers plenty of space for you and your dog to enjoy playing in the snow. In addition, dogs are welcome inside the South Resort Center*. There is also a rest area where you can sit and eat and drink indoors with your dog, so you can use it with peace of mind.
*Entry to some facilities, such as restaurants, is not permitted.
Using the bus will become even easier.
The express bus schedule from Koriyama Station to NEKOMA Mountain has been revised. In addition to the popular buses from hotels in the Urabandai area from last year, a ski shuttle service to and from Zao Onsen Ski Resort is also planned for this season. This will make it easier for more customers to use the service. NEKOMA is surprisingly close, only about 2.5 hours from Tokyo Station by Shinkansen. You can enjoy it whether you stay overnight or just visit for the day.
* Flight schedules will be released sequentially.
Three lifts are now available for snowshoeing.
The "Friendly Cat Chair," "Deep Cat Chair," and "Excite Cat Chair" in the northern area will now be available for use with snowshoes. Snowshoeing activity experiences are also planned. The ways to enjoy the snowy mountains will expand even further.
