If you're driving, the Tohoku Expressway and Ban'etsu Expressway are relatively less congested, making it stress-free! It's only about 15 minutes from the nearest Bandai-Kawahigashi IC, and there's no need to drive on long snowy roads.
Of course, it's only a short drive from Niigata or Ibaraki.
It is also easily accessible by train, with local buses from Koriyama Station on the Shinkansen line and a free shuttle bus from the nearest Bandaimachi Station.
