At NEKOMA Mountain, you can have a little taste of the sport you've seen on TV.
You might even get to see the skills of world-class athletes up close!
NEKOMA Mountain is known for its Snow Park, which has everything from beginners to world-class skiers.
Event: Big Air Slopestyle
NEKOMA Mountain has a "Step Up Park" in both areas where beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers can try out different skis while gradually improving their level, so even beginners can feel at ease. Beginner park sessions (free) are held on weekends and holidays, so even first-timers won't be afraid. Furthermore, at Global Park, top Japanese skiers active around the world hone their skills.
Spring is the season for moguls! There are moguls all over the place that are easy to practice on.
Event: Moguls
NEKOMA Mountain offers groomed moguls in both the south and north areas. Beginners can start with gentle moguls, so it's safe. There are also natural moguls on the steeper slopes, making it a worthwhile challenge. There is also a ski school run by a former Japanese mogul skier, so you can receive specialized lessons.

The south area's flow park features a series of waves, jumps, and banks, allowing everyone to have fun from top to bottom. A spring-only banked slalom course is scheduled to open in the north area, allowing you to experience the sensation of accelerating while using the terrain.

Event: Alpine skiing
Pole barn training is held only on weekends and holidays. It is a joint practice with local teams. You can participate if you wear a helmet. It is also useful for learning turning techniques.
A sledding and tubing area that will excite both adults and children!

In the north area, you can enjoy sledding as well as tubing. Tubing allows you to spin around on the bank at high speeds, so adults can have fun too!

To make children's dreams of trying snowboarding come true, we offer lessons specifically tailored for beginners, with all equipment, clothing, and accessories available for rental. We also offer free cold weather clothing for parents, and a certified medal will be awarded at the end of the lesson, ensuring peace of mind and a sense of accomplishment for both parents and children. This special lesson, available only during spring break, will turn the excitement of watching it on TV into a real-life experience.
